
Following the National Presidential Inauguration Ceremony at the Eagle’s Square Abuja, the new President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the inaugural speech outlined in clear terms his Administrations pledges.

The new president said and I quote “Our administration shall govern on your behalf but never rule over you. We shall consult and dialogue but never dictate. We shall reach out to all but never put down a single person for holding views contrary to our own.”
Tinubu stated that his administration will direct funds towards infrastructure and other sectors in order to fortify the economy. He further affirmed that a standardized exchange rate will be ensured under his leadership.
He provided investors with assurance that the reconsideration of multiple taxation would result in the enhancement of fresh foreign direct and local investments, and simultaneously committed to creating one million jobs in the digital economy.
In addition, he pledged to revamp the economy in order to foster expansion and augment the Gross Domestic Product by generating employment opportunities.
Consequently, he promised to continue the infrastructural legacy of the former president Mohammadu Buhari’s Administration. He emphasized that the administration will prioritize security and he plans to better the security structure, allocate more resources for security personnel, improve their training and equip them with better tools.
