Don’t panic, it’s avoidable. If you and I accept to take responsibilities of our actions, there will be a great change on our environment. The outbreak of the pandemic seems to be for china alone until a case was recorded in the us and several other places and soon becomes a global problem.
But, to our environment, what seems burdensome to humans did make the environment thrive! And for once in a very long time, the weather seemed balanced.
These activities are; Deforestation; As recorded by Newman’s program that monitors weekly changes with satellite images from the joint NASA/USGS Landsat satellites and the ESA’s Sentinel-2 satellites, these activities was on a low and the implications is that the air became less polluted. Food waste; These are produced in tons daily! It might seem to you less dangerous but it’s accumulation supports the growth of hazardous microorganisms.
This could also mean shortage of food because several causes of food waste happens during harvesting.To our surprise, this was also at its low. There for the ocean creatures breathed well! Plastic; everyone will agree with this, plastics don’t decay, If it does it will take centuries! . At 2015, annual production of swelled to 419 million tons, currently, roughly 11 million tons of plastic make its way into the oceans every year, harming wildlife habitats and the animals that live in them. Infact some of these plastics are present in the air and water-microplastics. Imagine your respiratory tract filled with this stuffs! Greenhouse effect; Greenhouse gases include water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone and some artificial chemicals such as chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). Apart from the increasing temperature.
These activities put together is a threat to nature. To human-the cause, to wildlife and animal, if this continues, we may all have another problem to fight like the pandemic. The nightmare is that we can never be ready for except to be avoided.
