Barely a week after the Lagos State Police announced the arrest of Sam Larry over his alleged involvement in the death of Promise Aloba, better known as MohBad, the police this evening confirmed the arrest of the Marlian Record label boss, Afeez Fashola aka Naira Marley.

The command public relations officer, David Hundeyin made the disclosure via X post on Tuesday.

“Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities,” Lagos police command spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin said late Tuesday.

Some music enthusiasts have called for the arrest of Naira Marley following a couple of videos posted by the late singer accusing his former boss of coordinating Incessant attack on him after he left the label in 2022
