NASA Next exploration of the forgotten planet.
On the 2nd of June,2021, NASA announced it’s mission to explore Venus the second closest planet to the sun.
Although, this will be it’s second visit since last 30years to the planet; this one time visit is aimed at studying why it’s a hellish version of it’s sister; earth. And to solve its mysteries.
“These two sister missions, both aimed to understand how Venus became an inferno-like world capable of melting lead at the surface—they will offer the entire science community the chance to investigate a planet we haven’t been to in more than 30 years,” NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said during the briefing. “We hope these missions will help further our understanding of how Earth evolved and why it’s currently habitable, when other [rocky planets] in our solar system are not.”
Venus

just as earth has the same size and mass, both are opposite when it comes to life. Venus is hellish and inhospitable. Perhaps, it might have harbored life sometimes ago. Understanding why venus is the way it is today might help us build our own world and prevent unforseen impending danger as regards rise in temperature. Therefore, this mission to Venus worth a trial.
Two spacecraft will be launch for this purpose; DAVINCI+ and VERITAS. DAVINCI+, will study the planet’s toxic atmosphere—a thick shroud of carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid clouds. The other, VERITAS, will make detailed maps of the planet’s surface and try to reconstruct its geologic history.
