The 8th edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) was held in Dakar, Senegal, The biggest names in Africa’s entertainment industry receive honors and recognition for their hard work and talent.

Davido won the Grammys for Best Inspirational Song for “Stand Strong” and Best African Pop for “High” for his collaboration with Adekunle Gold, while Burna Boy took home the awards for Best Album and Best African Act. Wizkid took home the Best West African Act award. Asake, who dominated 2022 with an unprecedented run, took home the Breakout Artist of the Year award.
