The Oyo State Lawmakers after a successful impeachment of Rauf Olaniyan as the Deputy Governor of the state have approved Bayo Lawal as the new Deputy Governor of Oyo State.
Bayo Lawal who was the Chairman of Oyo State Housing Corporation becomes Governor Seyi Makinde’s potential running mate in the 2023 governorship election.
The decision was arrived at a meeting held at the Oyo Government House, Ibadan, with Governor Makinde and some other prominent members of the Peoples Democratic Party in attendance.
Congratulations to Bayo Lawal, the poeple of Oyo State and the entire members of People Democratic Party.
